It’s the 100th anniversary of “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” and ESPN had a battle of the bands contest to celebrate. It’s not specifically a tribute to Harry, but there is a good video of him singing on what seems to be Cubs umberella-ella-ella-a giveaway day. I wouldn’t normally promote a contest put on by the boys in Bristol, but this one is already over. The final three were Ozomatli, Punch Brothers and everyone’s favorite redneck woman, Gretchen Wilson.

April 1991: Pittsburgh
The bases were loaded, and Andre Dawson came up to bat in the top of the ninth. The Cubs were down 3-0. I rocked back and forth on the couch and watched anxiously as Dawson dug in.
